Is Mastercam Truly A Native Windows Application?

Mastercam X was supposed to be rewritten for Windows from the ground up. After almost 2 years of using Mastercam I don’t believe this to be true and the reasons are:

If Mastercam is truly a Windows application written from the ground up for Windows why can’t I just Cut and Paste operations between 2 different Operation Managers? Yes, I realize I can Export and Save my Machining Operations and then import them into a new file but why should I always be forced into doing this? Windows Cut and Paste should work with a native Windows application.

If Mastercam is truly a Windows application written from the ground up for Windows why can’t I have multiple files open like I can in other truly native Windows applications like SolidWorks, SolidEdge, FeatureCAM, etc.?

What is the reason a red insertion arrow is needed in the Machining Operation Manager in Mastercam? What a pain in the ass this red insertion arrow thing is. Why does a product like FeatureCAM in its Part View Tree not have a red or any other color insertion arrow? You just drag and an insertion line follows you showing where the feature will be dropped… same with SolidWorks, SolidEdge, etc.

So is Mastercam really native Windows?

Not as far as I can tell.
